The fit of your So Danca TA38 Velcro Tap Shoes is crucial for comfort, performance, and overall satisfaction. Here’s how they should fit:

1. Snug but Comfortable: Your tap shoes should fit snugly without being too tight. They should hug your feet securely, providing support without causing discomfort or pinching.

2. Secure Velcro Closure: Ensure the velcro closure fastens securely, providing a stable fit around your foot. The velcro strap should allow for easy adjustments to achieve the perfect fit.

3. Toe Room: There should be a little room at the toe box to wiggle your toes, but not so much that your foot slides forward. Proper toe room ensures comfort during long practice sessions and performances.

4. Heel Fit: The heel should fit snugly against your foot without slipping. A well-fitted heel provides stability and helps maintain balance during complex tap routines.

NOTE: When trying on and testing out our tap shoes we highly recommend trying them on carpet to prevent the taps being scratched in case the shoes need to be returned. Shoes returned with scratched taps will not be accepted.

When Trying Tap Shoes on:
1. Test for Movement: When trying on the shoes, perform a few dance moves to ensure they allow for free and flexible movement. The flexible sole should facilitate ease of movement without compromising the fit.
2. Break-In Period:Expect a short break-in period during which the shoes will conform to the shape of your feet. This period should be brief, as the vegan leather and soft binding are designed for immediate comfort.

General Tips:
1. Allow your shoes to air out after each use to prevent odors and moisture build-up.
2. Avoid wearing your tap shoes outside.
3. Regularly check the soles and heels for wear and tear.
If you notice any issues with the heel or taps, consult a professional to have them repaired or replaced.
4. Ensure the velcro straps are free from lint and debris. Use a small brush or a piece of tape to clean the velcro if it becomes clogged.
