The So Danca BL300 MAMBO Junior Latin Dance Shoes are a fun, confidence-building first heel for young Ballroom and Latin dancers. With a low 1.25" Cuban heel, secure strappy design and versatile Duo Sole, they introduce children to proper Latin footwear without feeling overly grown-up.
Part of the Lacey Schwimmer Collection, MAMBO is available in Hot Pink and White - giving young dancers a choice between playful personality and a cleaner Juvenile competition look.
Made for Young Dancers Taking Their First Latin Steps
MAMBO has the look of a proper Latin sandal, but underneath it is designed to feel approachable for developing dancers. The low 1.25" Cuban heel keeps the foot relatively close to the floor, helping children become comfortable with the posture, balance and weight transfer involved in dancing in heels.
Across the front, the open-toe multi-strap design helps hold the forefoot securely while still allowing the toes and foot to move naturally through Latin choreography. Crossing straps through the instep and ankle add extra security so the shoe stays comfortably connected during turns and quicker movement.
Underneath, So Danca's Duo Sole combines suede with a rubber insert. This gives young dancers the traditional movement of a dance sole with a little extra grip – particularly useful while they are still developing confidence with turns, direction changes and transferring weight through the feet.
Finished with a sparkling rhinestone buckle and signature LS charm, MAMBO manages to feel like a very exciting first pair of Latin heels while keeping the construction practical for young dancers.
Dance World Tip
Don't choose the biggest size simply to allow for growth. A little sensible growing room is fine, but young dancers need the heel and straps to stay securely connected to the foot when they turn, rise and change direction.
