How to Measure for This So Danca Collection

Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Girth

Key Measurement

Using a flexible tape measure, start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder, creating one complete loop.

Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight. For leotards, girth is the most important measurement when body measurements suggest different sizes.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.

Waist

Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Height

Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.

Height is not included in this collection's published body measurement table, but it can still help when considering overall proportions and torso length.

So Danca SD2561 Flow Ease Dance Shorts - Design & Performance

Part of So Danca's Active range, the SD2561 combines a high-rise waist with a relaxed short-leg cut. The body drapes around the hips and upper thighs rather than following the close outline of a cycling short. Bound hems curve upwards at the sides, giving the legs a softly rounded, runner-inspired finish.

The Support polyamide-and-elastane fabric has a smooth, exceptionally soft feel. Its light drape is particularly lovely over a leotard: enough of a layer to change the outfit, without adding a heavy or structured finish.
