This So Danca collection uses the brand's Brazilian PP / P / M / G / GG sizing and does not follow the standard Petite / Small / Medium / Large / X-Large chart used on many other So Danca styles. Please choose from the body measurements below rather than converting directly from your usual So Danca size.
So Danca Brazilian Collection Size Chart
Compare girth, bust, waist and hips to find the best starting size. Measurements below are shown in centimetres, following the dedicated Brazilian collection chart.
| So Danca Size | Girth cm |
Bust cm |
Waist cm |
Hips cm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P = PP | 130–134.5 | 68.5–73.5 | 51–56 | 68.5–73.5 |
| S = P | 134.5–140 | 73.5–79 | 56–61 | 73.5–79 |
| M = M | 140–145 | 79–86.5 | 61–66 | 79–86.5 |
| L = G | 145–150 | 86.5–94 | 66–71 | 86.5–94 |
| XL = GG | 150–155 | 94–101.5 | 71–76 | 94–101.5 |
Do not match these letters directly to standard So Danca Petite–XL sizing. For example, Brazilian P does not simply mean standard So Danca Small. Use your actual measurements instead, with girth taking priority for leotards when different measurements point to different sizes.
How to Measure for This So Danca Collection
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Girth
Key MeasurementUsing a flexible tape measure, start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder, creating one complete loop.
Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight. For leotards, girth is the most important measurement when body measurements suggest different sizes.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
Height is not included in this collection's published body measurement table, but it can still help when considering overall proportions and torso length.
This collection follows So Danca's Brazilian PP / P / M / G / GG sizing rather than the Petite / Small / Medium / Large / X-Large system commonly seen on other So Danca dancewear. The letter labels should therefore not be converted directly between the two charts. Measure first and choose from the dedicated body measurements above, particularly girth for fitted leotards.
