The So Danca BAE15 combines the elegant appearance of a traditional satin ballet shoe with the greater freedom of a split sole. For the most accurate fit, always begin with your measured foot length rather than your everyday shoe size.

Many experienced dancers choose approximately their measured foot size or around ½ UK size above for a close performance fit.

• Growing Students & Adult Beginners
Approximately 1 UK size above measured foot length usually provides a comfortable ballet fit while allowing the split sole to move naturally with the foot.

• First Ballet Shoes & Young Dancers
Approximately 1½–2 UK sizes above measured foot length generally provides comfortable growing room while maintaining a secure ballet fit.

Unlike leather or stretch canvas, satin has virtually no natural stretch, making accurate sizing especially important. While the traditional cotton drawstring allows small adjustments around the front of the foot, it should not be relied upon to compensate for choosing a shoe that is too large. A neat, close fit allows the split sole to perform as intended and creates the cleanest ballet lines.

Allow satin ballet shoes to air naturally after every class or performance.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove surface dust. Satin is a delicate fabric and should be handled with care to preserve its elegant finish.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

As the shoes gradually adapt to your feet, many dancers choose to mark the inside with L and R so each shoe continues moulding comfortably to the same foot.

The premium satin upper creates a beautifully polished classical appearance, while the split suede sole allows the foot to articulate more freely than a traditional full sole. This combination encourages smoother pointe work, more expressive foot movement and beautifully defined arches while maintaining the timeless elegance expected from a satin ballet shoe.

Available in Pink, the BAE15 blends beautifully with traditional ballet tights to create a continuous leg line from hip to toe. Satin naturally has very little stretch, helping the shoe retain its crisp, elegant appearance throughout ballet examinations and stage performances. The traditional cotton drawstring allows small adjustments for a neat, secure fit around the front of the foot.
