The barely-there foot glove. MD18 feels less like putting on a shoe and more like adding a protective working layer to the forefoot. The strap-free construction keeps everything visually clean, while the individual toe openings make it particularly distinctive from a conventional half sole.

Tan creates the lighter barefoot-inspired finish, while Caramel offers a warmer, deeper neutral.

The defining feature of MD18 is its individual toe design. Each toe sits through its own opening rather than disappearing inside a closed forefoot, allowing greater separation and natural spreading while helping the foot glove stay closely connected during movement.

Across the foot, a flexible nylon-spandex upper stretches closely around the shape of the forefoot. There are no external elastic straps to interrupt the line; the stretch construction itself provides the secure, slip-on fit.

Underneath, a suede forefoot pad protects the high-friction turning area while creating a useful balance between grip and glide. The rest of the foot remains exposed, preserving the articulation and floor awareness contemporary dancers expect from minimalist footwear.

That combination gives MD18 an interesting advantage over a traditional canvas half sole: it provides slightly more encompassing forefoot coverage while still looking and feeling remarkably close to barefoot.
