How to Measure for Capezio Dancewear

Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Girth

Key Measurement

Start at the high point of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one complete loop.

Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight. For Capezio leotards, girth is especially useful when choosing between two sizes.

Chest / Bust

Measure around the widest part of the chest or bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.

Hips

Measure around the widest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Height

Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
