Using the Bunheads Massage Ball is simple and incredibly effective for dancers. Here are some step-by-step tips to get the most out of this foot-saving tool:

Warm Up First
Before using the massage ball, lightly stretch your feet and legs to increase circulation. This helps your muscles relax and makes the massage more effective.

Roll Under the Arch
Place the ball on the floor and gently roll your foot over it, focusing on the arch. Apply more or less pressure depending on your comfort level. This helps release tension in the arch, which is common for dancers due to repetitive footwork.

Target Deep Tissue Knots
For particularly tight areas, hold the ball under a tender spot for 20–30 seconds, applying steady pressure. This will release deep tissue knots, especially in the heel and ball of the foot, where tension tends to build up.

Work the Toes and Heel
Don’t forget to massage under your toes and heel. The ball’s small size makes it easy to maneuver in these areas, helping to improve flexibility and reduce pain from overuse.

Consistency is Key
Use the massage ball daily after rehearsals or performances for 5–10 minutes per foot. Regular use will keep your feet flexible, reducing the risk of injury and enhancing your overall performance.

Stretch Afterwards
After your massage, stretch your feet and legs to maintain the benefits. Focus on pointing and flexing your feet to increase your range of motion.
