Gold dance shoes can sometimes announce themselves before the dancer does. The 141 is much softer about it. Antique gold suede and smooth metallic panels create a warm, slightly textured shimmer rather than a mirror-bright finish, while the sweeping forefoot design keeps the overall look elegant and surprisingly understated. Pretty enough for an occasion, comfortable enough to actually dance in.

The most distinctive feature of the Diamant 141 is its unusual two-wing forefoot construction. Rather than using multiple narrow Latin straps, two softly shaped sections sweep diagonally across the foot, overlapping at the centre to create a more covered and supportive open-toe silhouette.

That makes the 141 an interesting middle ground in our collection. You still get the freedom of an open dance sandal, but the broader forefoot sections visually cover considerably more of the foot than a delicate strappy Latin style. For dancers who like an open toe but don't necessarily want the whole forefoot on display, it's a particularly lovely compromise.

The 5cm flare heel gives enough height to create an elegant Ballroom and Latin line while retaining a broader base beneath the heel. It feels considerably less demanding than a narrow high competition heel, making the 141 particularly well suited to social dancing, classes and occasions where you'll be wearing your shoes for more than a few dances.

Two slender straps cross around the ankle and heel, helping keep the back of the shoe connected securely to the foot. Diamant's push-button buckle system allows the strap length to be adjusted and then opened and closed quickly without resetting the fit each time.

Inside, breathable Italian microfibre lining helps manage moisture during longer sessions. Underfoot, the traditional professional brushed leather dance sole provides the familiar balance of turning freedom and controlled grip required on a clean indoor dance floor.
