For Intermezzo leotards, prioritise girth if your measurements point to different sizes. A dancer may fit one size through the chest and waist but need the next size for comfortable torso length. If you are between sizes, the larger size is usually the better starting point.
How to Measure for Intermezzo Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Girth
Key MeasurementUsing a flexible tape measure, start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder, creating one complete loop.

Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
Height is not part of Intermezzo's women's garment size table, but it is useful when considering overall proportions and whether a dancer may need more length through the torso.
Intermezzo women's dancewear runs from XS through XL in the brand's main size guide, although individual styles may be offered in a smaller size range. Leotards should fit closely without restricting movement. Close through the hips and fluid towards the hem, it adds a delicate layer over your leotard while keeping your leg line visible.

Infinite’s asymmetrical shape creates interest through the hem itself. The shorter front transitions into a longer back, adding a gentle sweep as you turn. A narrow matching waistband keeps the waistline neat, allowing the drape of the tulle to remain the focus.
The elastic tulle is designed to adapt to the body while allowing freedom of movement. It follows the hips before falling into a loose hem, combining a close upper silhouette with a lighter, flowing finish below.
Made from 90% polyamide and 10% elastane, the fabric offers stretch within a sheer layer. The mid-length cut adds length over the thighs, particularly at the back, while the transparent finish lets the shape of your leotard and legs remain visible beneath it.
