Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Description

BLOCH Eurostretch S0172 Pointe Shoes bring innovative stretch construction to a high-support, stability-led pointe shoe. Designed on BLOCH’s European Balance-type last, Eurostretch combines a deep vamp, wide box and high, wide platform with stretch satin that follows the foot closely through every movement.

The result is a streamlined pointe shoe with a close visual line, supported by practical construction details that help it perform through class, rehearsal and stage work.

BLOCH Eurostretch S0172 Pointe Shoes – Design & Performance

Eurostretch is built to create an especially close connection between foot and shoe. Its unique stretch satin follows the shape and movement of the foot, while the split outsole allows the material to stretch through the arch as the dancer moves from flat to pointe.

A deep vamp and wide box create the shoe’s supportive front profile, while the high, wide platform is designed to promote stable balances and even weight distribution en pointe. The low-profile upper, elastic drawstring and leather heel grip help maintain a smooth, secure finish around the foot.

BLOCH Eurostretch S0172 Pointe Shoe Construction

For durability in demanding studio conditions, BLOCH uses A Paste: a firmer pasting method designed to withstand heat and humidity. Ribbons and elastics are sold separately, allowing them to be positioned and sewn to suit the dancer’s professionally fitted setup.

Pointe Shoe Fitting & Reordering Tip: Pointe shoes must be selected in person with a qualified fitter and your teacher’s guidance. Ribbons and elastics are sold separately. When reordering the same model, refer to the size and width stamped on the shank inside your current shoe.
