All shoes are displayed in UK sizes. The size printed on the shoe or box may differ due to the manufacturer's international sizing system.

Regural Fit. We recommend you order your shoe size.
Regular medium fit.

Tap shoes should fit closely and securely. Your child’s toes should lie flat without curling, while the heel should remain stable when walking or tapping.
Avoid excessive growing room. Shoes that are too large can move around the foot, reduce control and make it more difficult to produce a clean tap sound.
Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when checking the BLOCH size guide. Try the shoes with the same socks or tights your child will wear for class.

Try the shoes on clean carpet only. Tap plates showing scratches or floor wear cannot be accepted for return.

Care information

Wipe the synthetic leather upper with a soft, slightly damp cloth and allow the shoes to air-dry naturally.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry or place near direct heat.
Keep the tap plates dry and check their screws regularly. If a tap becomes loose, ask a dance teacher or experienced shoe repairer to adjust it before the shoes are worn again.

Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

How Should Children’s Tap Shoes Fit?

Tap shoes should fit closely and securely without squeezing. Your child’s toes should lie naturally and flat inside the shoe, while the back should hold the heel securely when walking and tapping.

Always measure your child’s feet rather than using their current everyday shoe size. School shoes and trainers often already contain growing room, making them an unreliable starting point for fitted dance footwear.

For the S0330, use the measured foot length together with the current BLOCH size guide.
Choose a secure fit without excessive growing room.

Try the shoes with the same socks or tights your child will wear for class. Shoes that are too large may slide around the foot, reducing control and making it more difficult to create a clean tap sound.

Quick fit check: Ask your child to walk, rise onto the toes and perform a few gentle toe-and-heel movements. The toes should remain flat and the heel should not noticeably lift or slide.
