Start with your normal shoe size. VIBE should feel comfortably secure around the heel and instep without compressing the toes.

If genuinely between sizes, dancers wanting a closer performance feel may prefer the smaller option, while those prioritising a roomier trainer feel can choose the larger size. The suede upper should also soften and adapt slightly with wear.

Care information

Brush the suede upper gently with a suitable suede brush and avoid prolonged exposure to water. Allow the shoe to air dry naturally rather than placing it near direct heat.

Wipe the PU outsole when required to keep the SpinPoint areas clear of floor residue. For best dance performance and longevity, use VIBE mainly on clean indoor dance floors.

VIBE is one of those shoes that doesn't need to shout about what it can do. The Light Grey Suede keeps the look modern and easy to wear, while the low sneaker profile feels relaxed enough for workshops and social nights. Underneath, though, there's some very deliberate dance engineering going on.

Design & Performance

The heart of VIBE is its full PU dance sole with dual SpinPoints. Positioned beneath the heel and forefoot, these dedicated pivot zones help the shoe rotate more freely through turns and changes of direction while retaining enough surrounding grip for controlled movement. Diamant designed the outsole specifically to give dancers a smoother turning response than an ordinary trainer. 

The upper is made from soft light-grey suede, giving the shoe a supple, premium feel that gradually adapts more closely to the foot with wear. Inside, a breathable Italian microfibre lining helps manage heat and moisture during longer sessions, while the traditional six-hole lacing gives plenty of control over the fit through the instep. 

Underfoot, the low 1.5 cm shock-absorbing heel adds cushioning without creating the elevated feel of a traditional Ballroom shoe. The result is reassuringly grounded and easy to wear for long periods - particularly appealing for dancers who spend more time practising or social dancing than performing in formal competition footwear. 

VIBE feels sporty, but not overly athletic. It's a nice middle ground for dancers who want a clean sneaker silhouette, proper turning capability and enough structure to feel secure through travelling steps, pivots and repeated choreography.

Dance World Notes

A very good choice if you hate sticky trainers.
The SpinPoints are the star here. They give VIBE the easy rotation an ordinary sneaker usually lacks, especially through repeated turns and pivots.

Men's option - but technically unisex.
We particularly like VIBE in our men's range because the clean grey sneaker shape is easy to wear, but Diamant actually builds it on a regular unisex G-width fit. 

VIBE or BEAT?
BEAT is the plusher Nappa-leather option with noticeably generous padding. VIBE feels a little more understated and sporty in soft suede. Both use Diamant's SpinPoint concept, so the choice is really about upper feel and style.
