Start with your normal shoe size. BEAT should feel securely held without pressure through the toes; the Nappa leather gradually moulds more closely around the foot after a short period of wear.

If you're between sizes, a slightly closer fit can suit dancers who prioritise precision during turns, while the larger size or approximately half a size up may suit dancers who prefer a roomier trainer feel.

Care information

Wipe the Nappa leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wear and allow it to dry naturally away from direct heat.

Occasional use of a suitable leather conditioner can help maintain softness. Keep the PU outsole clean so the SpinPoint areas can work efficiently against the floor.

BEAT has that clean sneaker look that doesn't immediately announce itself as a dance shoe. The White Nappa Leather feels fresh and modern, while the low-profile shape keeps everything wonderfully easy-going. Then the music starts, the SpinPoints get involved, and suddenly that very normal-looking trainer has considerably better dance-floor manners.

Diamant BEAT 212 SpinPoint Leather Dance Sneakers – Design & Performance

BEAT is built around a lightweight full PU dance sole with two strategically positioned SpinPoints beneath the forefoot and heel. These dedicated pivot zones reduce resistance through rotation, allowing turns, pivots and directional changes to move more naturally than they would in an ordinary rubber-soled trainer. Diamant specifically developed the outsole to combine smooth turning with controlled grip.

The upper is made from soft genuine Nappa leather, which begins moulding more closely to the foot after a short period of wear. Inside, breathable Italian microfibre lining helps manage moisture, while particularly generous padding around the ankle and heel creates a soft, protected feel through longer sessions.

Underfoot, an ultra-soft removable footbed provides additional cushioning and flexibility, while the low 1.5 cm shock-absorbing heel takes some of the impact out of repeated dance movement. It's a thoughtful combination for workshops, social nights and practice sessions where the shoes may stay on considerably longer than planned.

The result feels much more like a premium trainer than traditional Ballroom footwear, but with the floor response dancers actually need. For anyone who loves dancing in sneakers but has had enough of ordinary rubber soles fighting every turn, BEAT makes a very convincing case.
