To keep your Diamant shoes performing at their best, wear them only on clean indoor dance floors and brush the suede sole regularly with a specialist dance shoe brush.

Handmade in Germany from soft Italian nappa leather, this version is built in Diamant's generous K extra-wide fitting.

Its classic plain Derby construction gives the shoe a timeless formal appearance, while adjustable open lacing, a padded collar, breathable microfibre lining and low shock-absorbing heel make it a particularly comfortable choice for Ballroom lessons, social dancing and regular practice.

The smooth nappa leather, subtle panel stitching and clean Derby silhouette work effortlessly with traditional Ballroom trousers and formal dancewear.

Diamant 085 Men's Ballroom Shoes – Design & Performance

The simplicity of 085 hides a very well-considered dance construction. The upper is made from premium soft Italian nappa leather, giving the shoe a polished traditional appearance while allowing the leather to gradually soften and adapt to the foot with wear.

This particular version is produced on Diamant's K extra-wide last. Combined with the open 4-eyelet Derby lacing, it gives broader feet and higher insteps considerably more adjustment than a narrow formal-style dance shoe.

Comfort continues around the opening, where a padded collar softens the fit around the ankle. Inside, premium Italian microfibre lining is breathable, antibacterial and moisture absorbing – useful during longer lessons and evenings of social dancing.

Underneath is a traditional suede dance sole, providing the controlled glide and turning response required on Ballroom floors. A low 2cm shock-absorbing heel keeps the dancer grounded and stable without making the shoe feel completely flat.

The width is the important part.
Our version is the K extra-wide fitting. If ordinary men's Ballroom shoes squeeze across the forefoot or feel restrictive over the instep, 085 gives you the additional space without requiring a more casual-looking shoe.

Dance World Tip: Choose width before adding length. If your usual shoe size feels correct from heel to toe but standard Ballroom shoes feel tight across the foot, the extra-wide K construction may solve the problem more effectively than simply buying a longer shoe.
