Use the Capezio women’s size chart and measure carefully before choosing. Rudi has a close fit and a layered construction that is flexible but has less elastic give than lighter leotards. Pay particular attention to girth and bust/chest, then compare waist and hip measurements too.

The leotard should have enough torso length to sit comfortably through the shoulders and crotch, with the built-in bra sitting comfortably around the bust. Fasten the neckband and gently raise your arms, reach forward and bend to check that the neckline, sleeves and body move comfortably with you.

Choose the fit from your measurements rather than relying on the fabric to stretch into place. Avoid choosing a smaller size to seek more support. The layered body feels more structured and less airy than lighter leotard fabrics. Its construction is flexible, with less elastic give, so the fibre percentages should be considered alongside the actual fit and feel.
The Black lined body offers excellent coverage. The decorative yoke and sleeves remain sheer, and the back includes a large open cut-out.

Care information

Follow the garment care label. Capezio recommends:
• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
• Lay flat to dry.
For general care of the decorative fabric, fasten the hook and eye before washing and use a mesh laundry bag to separate the leotard from rough fastenings. Wash with similar colours and a mild detergent. Avoid wringing, rubbing the floral surface or pulling on the sheer panels. Reshape gently while damp and keep hairpins and Velcro away from the fabric in your dance bag.

How to Measure for Capezio Dancewear

Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Girth

Key Measurement

Start at the high point of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one complete loop.

Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight. For Capezio leotards, girth is especially useful when choosing between two sizes.

Chest / Bust

Measure around the widest part of the chest or bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.

Hips

Measure around the widest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Height
