Use the Capezio women's size chart, comparing girth, bust/chest, waist and hips before choosing. Poiret has a more structured lower section and a more relaxed upper bodice, so check the fit of both areas.

The adjustable straps let you refine where the neckline sits. Start with a comfortable torso fit, then adjust the straps evenly so they rest on the shoulders without digging in or slipping. Gently raise your arms, reach forward and bend to check the front neckline and lower body sit comfortably as you move.

Strap adjustment cannot compensate for insufficient torso length. Support through the top is light, so choose this style with your bust-support preferences in mind. If measurements fall across sizes or you have a longer torso, contact Dance World for guidance.

Care information

Follow the garment care label. Capezio recommends:
• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
• Lay flat to dry.
For general care of the decorative fabric, use a mesh laundry bag and wash with similar colours and a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or rubbing the floral surface. Reshape gently while damp, handling the body of the garment rather than pulling on the straps. Keep hairpins, Velcro and rough fastenings away from the burnout fabric in your dance bag.

How to Measure for Capezio Dancewear

Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Girth

Key Measurement

Start at the high point of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one complete loop.

Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight. For Capezio leotards, girth is especially useful when choosing between two sizes.

Chest / Bust

Measure around the widest part of the chest or bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.

Hips

Measure around the widest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Height

Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
