For Capezio leotards, girth is the key measurement when body measurements suggest different sizes. A dancer may have a smaller chest or waist but still need the next size because of torso length. For children's dancewear, use the US clothing size as a reference only and prioritise actual measurements.

How to Measure for Capezio Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Girth
Key MeasurementStart at the high point of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one complete loop.

Chest / Bust
Measure around the widest part of the chest or bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.
Hips
Measure around the widest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.

Available in Pink and Black, this separate girls’ ballet skirt is lovely for creative movement, special dance days and those moments when she wants an extra flourish. Capezio Folk Tale Tutu Skirt – Design & Comfort
Three layers of printed tulle gather at the waist to create a full, floaty skirt shape. Made from 100% polyester tulle, the layers fall softly around the hips, with a raw-edge hem keeping the finish delicate. The sheer fabric gives the floral print a gentle, layered effect.
A sparkle elastic waistband adds a little shimmer and allows the skirt to pull on over a separate leotard. The waistband is approximately 3.2 cm wide across all sizes. With no ties to arrange, it is a simple extra to add when it is time for the skirt to come out.

How Should We Pack a Tutu Skirt?
