For Capezio leotards, girth is the key measurement when body measurements suggest different sizes. A dancer may have a smaller chest or waist but still need the next size because of torso length. For children's dancewear, use the US clothing size as a reference only and prioritise actual measurements.

How to Measure for Capezio Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Girth
Key MeasurementStart at the high point of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one complete loop.

Chest / Bust
Measure around the widest part of the chest or bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.
Waist

Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.

Capezio Enchanted Tutu Dress – Design & Comfort
Camisole straps and straight front and back necklines frame the fitted leotard body. A narrow floral mesh overlay sits across the front below the chest, introducing the print against the plain Pink fabric. The front is fully lined, and a classic ballet leg line sits beneath the attached tutu.
