All of our bodies are different, so sometimes our SP Girls might fit in different sizes for different garments. Please see Size Chart.

Materials & Construction

Sylvia P selects the best possible fabrics and materials from the world’s leading manufacturers, however certain fabrics and materials are more vulnerable to foil loss, fading and piling.

Velvet and Nylon Lycras are the most resilient fabrics which incur the least amount of fading. Mesh, Mystique and Holographic Lycra are the most sensitive fabrics which, with repeated wear and washing, may fade. Sylvia P’s sublimated fabrics won’t run as the ink is fused into the fabrics with over 200 degree heat.

When purchasing garments with light and dark colours please note that colour transfer may occur even when washing instruction has been followed correctly. Perspiration and deodorants contributes to the colour transfer. Perspiration and deodorants may cause fabric to fade.

Crystals can be applied to all fabrics, excessive wearing and stretching may result in crystals falling off. Areas where crystals have been applied may dull slightly due to the heat application. To avoid pilling, do not let fabrics come into contact with any rough surfaces or velcro.

Over time fabrics may fade, lose some foil, colours may transfer and/or crystals may dislodge due to wearing and washing even when the instructions above have been followed.

Care information

DO:
Turn garment inside out when washing.
Machine wash using mild liquid detergent (woolwash).
Wash on short cycle in cold water.
Tumble dry immediately after washing on low or no heat.
DON'T:
Soak, bleach or use strong detergent or softener.
Iron, dry clean or hang dry.
Leave in direct sunlight or plastic bags for long periods.
Use antiperspirants or deodorants prior to or while wearing.

BLOCH sizing varies between dancewear and footwear styles. For garments, use actual body measurements rather than everyday clothing size wherever possible. For shoes, use measured foot length as your starting point and always follow the model-specific Dance World Fit Advice shown on the individual product page.

Dance World Tip

Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

BLOCH produces footwear for many different dance disciplines, so there is no single BLOCH shoe conversion that accurately predicts the fit of every model. Ballet, jazz, tap, character, contemporary, dancesport and studio shoes can all use different fitting recommendations. Dispatch & Delivery

We aim to process orders within 1–5 business days. Please allow additional processing time during busy periods. Delivery estimates begin after dispatch and vary by destination.

Orders are sent via GLS for European and international destinations. Tracking details will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.

A signature may be required on delivery. If you miss your delivery, follow the carrier’s instructions to arrange redelivery or collection.

Orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, customs duties and import charges, payable by the recipient.

Returns

Eligible items can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt for EU orders, or 40 days for UK and other non-EU orders. Items must be in their original, resaleable condition, with tags and packaging. Product exclusions apply.

Where our prepaid EU return-label service is available, a €10 label fee is deducted from your refund. Alternatively, you can arrange return postage at your own expense. Please contact us before returning a faulty or incorrect item.
