Bodile women's sizing uses overlapping size ranges from XXS/XS through L/XL. For the most reliable fit, compare your bust, waist, hip and torso-length measurements rather than converting directly from everyday clothing size. For leotards, torso length is particularly useful when deciding between two overlapping sizes.

Bodile's size ranges intentionally overlap. If your bust, waist or hips comfortably fit two sizes, use torso length as an important deciding measurement for leotards. A longer torso may feel more comfortable in the larger overlapping size, while a shorter torso may suit the smaller option.
How to Measure for Bodile Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting dancewear using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Torso Length
Key Leotard MeasurementFollow Bodile's measuring diagram and measure the length of the torso vertically down the body. Keep the tape straight and close to the body without pulling it tight.
Bodile calls this measurement Torso Length. It should not be substituted with the full shoulder-through-crotch girth loop commonly used by some other dancewear brands.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
Height is not included in Bodile's women's size table, but it can be useful when considering overall body proportions alongside torso length.
Bodile women's sizes are intentionally grouped into overlapping ranges: XXS/XS, XS/S, S/M, M/L and L/XL. This gives dancers flexibility when choosing their preferred fit. Use all four published body measurements together, with torso length particularly useful for fitted leotards. Where two sizes overlap, consider both body length and how close you prefer your dancewear to feel.

The Bodile Bella Fig camisole ballet leotard combines violet-plum velvet with a deeper plum body and smoky mesh. Black adjustable straps frame the shoulders, while the corset-style panels give the front a defined shape. Rich in colour and texture, Fig makes a striking centrepiece for a ballet outfit, with Gisella adding a flowing skirt line for rehearsals.
Bodile Bella Fig Ballet Leotard – Design & Performance
Violet-plum velvet panels shape Bella’s camisole bodice, following curved seams towards a gently tapered lower edge. A deep V-shaped mesh insert introduces a softer, smoky contrast at the centre front, while the velvet catches the light in brighter purple highlights.
SUPRABLIME® mesh continues through the side and back panels, carrying the muted plum tones around the body. Fine black shoulder straps adjust with gold-tone sliders, and a small gold emblem finishes the centre back.
The main body is made from ECOSCULPT® - 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% Lycra. Soft and breathable, it combines supportive compression with stretch and shape recovery for a close, sculpting fit. The mesh panels add lightness and transparency beside the smooth body and velvet front.
Australian-designed Bella features a medium-cut ballet leg line and 100% cotton gusset. The front insert, sides and upper back are intentionally semi-sheer, creating varied coverage across the garment.
