The BLOCH Spin II is designed for a snug, seamless performance fit. The stretch canvas should contour smoothly around the toes and forefoot, while the suede outsole remains centred beneath the ball of the foot.

At a size boundary:
A narrow, shallow or highly compressible foot may prefer the smaller band.
A broader or fuller forefoot may prefer the larger band.
Do not automatically size up for comfort; excess room can let the forefoot twist during turns.

When checking the fit:
• The suede outsole should sit directly beneath the ball of the foot.
• The toes should lie flat and relaxed rather than curling.
• The stretch canvas should sit smoothly without loose folds.
• The wide topline should feel secure without cutting into the foot.
• Both elastic straps should lie flat and remain in position around the heel.
• Rise onto relevé and complete a controlled turn to confirm that the outsole does not rotate away from the working forefoot.

The official BLOCH fit guidance is based on a medium-width foot. Dancers with wider feet may require additional room.

The stretch canvas is designed to follow the forefoot and recover towards its natural shape, while the silicone-lined binding and straps help keep the suede working surface correctly positioned.

Care information

Spot clean the stretch canvas using a soft, slightly damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent.

Avoid machine washing or prolonged soaking, as excess water may affect the suede outsole, stretch fibres and silicone lining.

Allow Spin II to air dry naturally away from radiators, tumble dryers, direct heat and strong sunlight.

Brush the suede outsole gently with a clean suede brush when required to remove studio dust and help maintain its working texture.

Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Its stretch canvas softly surrounds the toes, the suede surface provides plenty of room for rotation, and the silicone-lined fit system keeps everything closely connected through travelling turns and choreography.

The foundation of Spin II is its innovative stretch canvas upper. The fibres adapt closely around the forefoot during movement, then recover towards the natural shape of the foot rather than remaining permanently stretched or loose.

A soft, wide elasticised binding follows the topline of the shoe. Silicone along the inside helps the binding resist slipping against the skin, creating a close and seamless fit without relying on a drawstring or rigid edge.

The stay-put design continues through double silicone-lined elastic straps. These secure the half sole around the heel and help prevent the forefoot from twisting or shifting away from its correct position during repeated turns.

Underneath, a suede forefoot outsole provides the dedicated working surface for spins, pivots and directional movement. Its generous shape gives the dancer useful turning space while protecting the high-friction area beneath the ball of the foot.

The seamless spin favourite.

The generous turning platform is what gives Spin II its confidence. The most useful dancer feedback compares the feel beneath the forefoot to turning in a soft ballet shoe: plenty of suede under the ball of the foot, but with the heel left open for direct floor contact.

The silicone grip works best when the fit is genuinely close. Dancers like how little readjustment the straps require, but excess room can allow the shoe to twist during turns. Fit the position of the suede outsole first rather than relying only on the letter printed on the label.
