Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

BLOCH Elizabeth High-Waisted Dance Shorts R90013 – Design & Performance

Part of BLOCH’s Opulence collection, Elizabeth uses a smooth nylon-and-elastane body that follows the dancer closely while retaining the flexibility needed for extensions, floor work and conditioning exercises.

The defining feature is the wide ribbed waistband. Worn high at the waist, it provides broader support than a narrow elastic band and creates a clean transition between a crop top, leotard or fitted studio layer and the shorts below.

The waistband contains a higher proportion of elastane than the main fabric, giving it a firmer and more structured feel. Vertical ribbing adds subtle texture, while the no-front-seam construction keeps the front smooth and comfortable through repeated movement at the hips.
