So Danca BL126 Ballroom Shoes – Design & Performance
The feature that really distinguishes BL126 is its extended, sculpted heel cup. Rather than finishing conventionally around the back of the foot, the satin upper sweeps forward into a longer side profile, creating additional enclosure around the heel while giving the shoe its distinctive silhouette.
Two slender straps cross diagonally over the instep before meeting around the ankle. This creates a secure, wrapped feeling through the midfoot without adding visual weight to the shoe, while the adjustable buckle allows the hold to be fine-tuned.
The closed toe provides traditional ballroom coverage, while a cushioned insole adds comfort beneath the foot. A 2.5" / approximately 6.4 cm shaped heel gives BL126 a graceful amount of height without pushing it into a more aggressive Latin profile.
