The Zone gymnastics leotards are designed for a close, flexible fit. Use actual body measurements rather than age alone wherever possible. For leotards, girth is especially important because it reflects the full length of the torso. If measurements fall between two sizes, the larger size is usually the better starting point.

For gymnastics leotards, girth is the key measurement when the numbers point to different sizes. If height or chest suggests one size but girth sits closer to the next, choosing the larger size will usually give a more comfortable torso fit.
How to Measure for The Zone Gymnastics Leotards
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Girth
Key MeasurementUsing a flexible tape measure, start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder, creating one complete loop.
Keep the tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight. Girth is especially useful when choosing between two leotard sizes.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level around the body. The tape should sit comfortably without compressing the chest.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Hips are not included in this particular The Zone size table, but they can still be useful when checking overall body proportions and leotard coverage.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
The Zone uses numbered gymnastics sizes rather than standard clothing sizes. Current girls' styles commonly progress from size 24 for younger children through sizes 26, 28, 30 and 32, with size 34 moving into Women's Small on many models. Use age only as a guide and prioritise actual body measurements, particularly girth, when choosing a leotard.

The Zone Eclipse Z310 girls’ gymnastics leotard pairs a soft touch with a little silver sparkle. One of our more popular gymnastics styles, this sleeveless design combines a navy velour body with a sweeping silver panel and a decorative motif at the front. Made from 85% polyamide and 15% LYCRA® elastane, it offers plenty of stretch in a close, comfortable shape. Broad shoulders, a round neckline and a scoop back complete a classic training look for young gymnasts who enjoy soft fabric and shimmering detail.
The Zone Eclipse Z310 Gymnastics Leotard – Design & Performance
The soft velour body gives Eclipse its distinctive feel, with a gentle surface sheen that adds depth to the navy colour. The 85% polyamide and 15% LYCRA® elastane fabric provides high stretch for bending, reaching and practising skills. Its close fit follows the body while the sleeveless cut leaves the arms free.
A silver hologram panel sweeps across the upper front in an asymmetric curve, creating a bright contrast against the darker velour. Below it, a crystal-and-jewel motif spreads out in a decorative spray of leaf-like shapes. A small Zone logo at the hip completes the front without competing with the main detail.
The silver panel continues around the scoop back, framing the neckline and carrying the shine through to the rear view. Broad shoulder sections and neatly bound edges give the tank shape a clean outline. The lower back remains plain navy, allowing the contrast between the soft velour and silver finish to stand out.
