Start with light pressure and slow, small movements. Use a stable surface with enough clear space around you.

• Feet: Sit on a stable chair and place the ball beneath the arch of one foot. Gently roll it back and forth, keeping your toes relaxed. Adjust pressure through the foot without standing or balancing on the ball.
• Upper back: Place the ball between a wall and the muscle beside your spine, below shoulder level. Lean back lightly and make small movements, keeping clear of the spine, shoulder blades and neck. Lean away to ease the pressure.
