How to Measure for Repetto Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with your feet flat on the floor. Measure vertically from the floor to the top of the head.
Height is particularly useful when checking the overall proportion and length of fitted dancewear.
Chest
Key MeasurementMeasure around the fullest part of the chest, passing the tape underneath the arms and keeping it straight and level around the body.
Keep the tape comfortably close without compressing the chest.
Waist
Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the measuring tape level all the way around the body.
Inside Leg
Stand straight with your legs relaxed. Measure from the top of the inner thigh down the inside of the leg to the ankle.
This measurement is particularly useful when choosing trousers, leggings, unitards and other full-length dancewear.
