POPFLEX designs can vary from highly sculpting leggings and fitted tops to adjustable-waist skorts and more relaxed layers. If your measurements fall across two sizes, prioritise the measurement most relevant to the garment — waist and hips for bottoms, and bust for fitted tops or bras — then check the product-specific fit advice.

How to Measure for POPFLEX

Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Bust

Tops & Bras

Measure around the fullest part of the bust, passing the tape underneath the arms and keeping it straight and level around the body.

Keep the tape comfortably close without compressing the bust.

Waist

Bottoms & Skorts

Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around the body.

Height

Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.

POPFLEX does not use height in its core XS–XL body-size chart, but it can be useful when comparing garment lengths and longer silhouettes.

Inside Leg

Measure from the top of the inner thigh down the inside of the leg to the ankle while standing straight.

This is a useful secondary measurement for leggings, trousers and full-length styles, but it is not part of POPFLEX's standard XS–XL body-size chart.

POPFLEX Fit Guidance

POPFLEX uses the same core bust, waist and hip measurements across much of its clothing range, but the feel of the garment can vary significantly depending on the design. Sculpting leggings and fitted tops may feel closer to the body, while adjustable-waist skorts, trousers and relaxed layers can offer more flexibility. Use this chart as your starting point and always follow any product-specific Dance World fit advice where provided.

POPFLEX Juliet Hourglass Skort – Design & Movement

The high-rise waistband crosses gently at the front, drawing the eye towards the natural waist without relying on a narrow or pinching elastic edge.

Below it, two layers of lightweight stretch mesh fall softly over the hips and flutter through turns. The movement feels romantic and fluid rather than highly structured or dramatically voluminous.

Fitted shorts are permanently built underneath, with anti-cameltoe construction and two side pockets. This creates the confidence of active shorts beneath a silhouette that still feels unmistakably skirted.

What POPFLEX Customers Notice

The combination feels softer than it looks. Customers regularly highlight the smooth inner fabric, comfortable waistband and flattering way the mesh falls over the hips.

The pockets are genuinely useful, although the mesh must be lifted slightly to reach them. Customers with fuller thighs may also prefer the larger size when between sizes, as the short inner layer can feel closer than the flowing skirt suggests.

From Pliés to Pilates

The Juliet works beautifully for Pilates, barre, dance fitness and rehearsal days where you want a visible leg line with more softness than conventional fitted shorts.

For dance class, remember that the mesh will lift and reveal the inner shorts during turns, kicks and floor work. It is best treated as expressive activewear rather than traditional uniform balletwear unless your school permits skirted training styles.
