General Size Advice for Grishko Dancewear
-
Girth is the Most Important Measurement
When selecting dancewear, the most relevant measurement is the girth (also known as torso length). To measure accurately, start at one shoulder, pass the tape measure through the legs, and bring it back to the same shoulder. This ensures the best fit for leotards and unitards. -
Size Up if in Doubt
If you find yourself between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. A snug fit is essential, but dancewear should allow for flexibility and movement without restriction. -
Fabric Differences Affect Fit
- Lace leotards tend to have a smaller fit due to the fabric’s reduced elasticity. If you are considering a lace leotard, you may want to size up for a more comfortable fit.
- Tulle leotards offer a bit more stretch, making them slightly more forgiving in terms of sizing.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure the best fit and comfort for your dancewear. If you need further assistance, reach out for personalized advice.

Description
Description
The Grishko M75S Split-Sole Warm-Up Booties take everything dancers love about a cosy padded bootie and make it considerably more flexible. Low cut, soft and wonderfully easy to move in, they're made for dancers who don't necessarily want to sit still while keeping their feet warm.
The clever split-sole construction bends through the middle of the foot, making it easier to point, stretch and articulate while wearing the booties, even over pointe shoes.
Personality
Cosy • Flexible • Low-Cut • Pointe-Friendly
M75S is the mover of the warm-up bootie family. It still has that wonderfully padded, cocoon-like feel dancers love, but the lower ankle and flexible split sole make it noticeably less bulky through movement. It's a bootie made for warming up in, rather than simply waiting around in.
Grishko M75S Warm-Up Booties – Design & Comfort
The standout feature is underneath the foot. Unlike a traditional full-sole warm-up bootie, the M75S uses a split anti-slip faux-leather sole, allowing the bootie to fold through the middle and move more naturally as the dancer points and articulates the foot.
Inside, soft 100% polyester lining and padding creates the cosy warmth expected from a proper studio bootie, while the waterproof polyester outer helps protect against cold studio floors, drafts and light moisture.
The low-cut shape keeps the ankle relatively free, while an elastic drawstring with adjuster and additional secure fit detailing help hold the bootie comfortably around the foot. Protective fabric wraps around high-wear areas of the sole, helping this particularly flexible design stand up to regular studio use.
And importantly for ballet dancers, the M75S is designed to be worn over pointe shoes, making it possible to keep both feet and shoes warm while still working through the foot.

The Dance World Warm-Up Bootie DNA™ compares the defining characteristics of each warm-up style. A higher score does not necessarily mean a better bootie — it shows the balance of warmth, cushioning, cosiness, shoe compatibility and ease of wear, helping dancers choose the style that suits them best.
Dance World Notes
Low cut changes the feel. With less volume around the ankle, M75S feels lighter and freer than a traditional high puffy bootie while still surrounding the foot with cosy insulation.
Pointe dancers get the best of both worlds. The roomy construction accommodates pointe shoes underneath, while the split sole lets the dancer continue pointing and working through the foot rather than simply keeping it covered.
Grishko M75S Dance World Fit Advice
Wearing over ballet or pointe shoes:
Choose the size range corresponding most closely with your normal foot size. The M75S is specifically designed to accommodate dance shoes underneath.
Between two sizes:
Choose the larger size for a little more room, particularly if you intend to wear the booties regularly over pointe shoes.
Fit feel:
Expect a relaxed padded fit rather than the close fit of a dance shoe. The adjustable fastening helps secure the low-cut bootie while allowing enough space for footwear underneath.
Fit advice is intended as a guide. Individual fit can vary depending on foot shape, pointe shoe construction, footwear worn underneath and personal preference.
