2. Minimal Heel Slippage: While a slight amount of heel slippage is normal when shoes are new, it should not be excessive. The shoes should fit securely around the heel to prevent slipping during movement, which can lead to blisters or discomfort.

3. Adequate Toe Space: Ensure there is enough space for your toes to wiggle slightly. Your toes should not be pressed against the front of the shoe, but there shouldn't be too much extra room either. This balance prevents discomfort and helps maintain proper form.

NOTE: When trying on and testing out our tap shoes we highly recommend trying them on carpet to prevent scratching the taps. Shoes returned with scratched taps will not be accepted.
