General Size Advice for Capezio Dancewear

Girth is the Most Important Measurement
When selecting dancewear, the most relevant measurement is the girth (also known as torso length). To measure accurately, start at one shoulder, pass the tape measure through the legs, and bring it back to the same shoulder. This ensures the best fit for leotards and unitards.
Size Up if in Doubt
If you find yourself between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. A snug fit is essential, but dancewear should allow for flexibility and movement without restriction.

Ava is built around a broad inner toe box with full wings and a high, wide platform. The platform is slightly slanted to encourage the dancer over the box, while the lowered profile and moderate hand-flattened crown maintain a close, refined shape.

Inside, a plush anti-slip microfiber lining and removable medical-grade gel cushion at the internal platform edge help reduce friction and toe pressure. The full #2.5 leather board and red board combination shank is designed to provide flexibility through the arch, while the reduced sole length helps limit excess material at the heel.
