S0675 is designed to sit close and secure against the forefoot. This style fits true to size. We recommend you get your regular size.

Because this is a foot thong rather than a conventional shoe, the important fit check is whether the suede pad sits correctly beneath the ball of the foot and remains there through movement.

The elastic should hold the pad securely without pulling uncomfortably between the toes. If between sizes or if the foot is broader through the forefoot, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Description

Sometimes the simplest contemporary footwear makes the most sense. The Bloch S0675 Suede Foot Thong strips the traditional half shoe almost completely away, leaving a soft suede working surface beneath the ball of the foot and little else between the dancer and the floor.

Thin toe anchors help position the suede pad, while elastic support across the foot keeps it securely connected through turns and travelling movement. The heel, arch, toes and majority of the forefoot remain exposed, creating one of the closest-to-barefoot options in the collection.

The minimalist turn specialist. S0675 feels almost less like footwear and more like placing a turning surface exactly where the foot needs one. There is virtually nothing covering the foot itself, which makes it particularly appealing to dancers who want protection from friction without losing the look or sensation of dancing barefoot.

Tan keeps the tiny amount of visible footwear soft, neutral and naturally understated against the foot.

Bloch S0675 Contemporary Foot Thong – Design & Performance

The centre of the S0675 is its full suede leather forefoot pad. Positioned beneath the ball of the foot, it reduces direct friction against the floor and creates a smooth, consistent working surface for turns without extending unnecessary material through the rest of the foot.

Rather than enclosing the toes inside fabric or leather, thin sections pass between the toes to help hold the suede pad in the correct position. The toes themselves remain exposed and free to spread, grip and respond naturally during balance and weight transfer.

Across the upper foot, an elastic support system adds security and helps prevent the turning pad from shifting through movement. BLOCH also reinforces the outer suede pad, an important detail in such a deliberately minimal design because the forefoot surface does virtually all of the work.

The result is exceptionally close to barefoot. There is no covered arch, no heel and almost no upper to influence articulation. S0675 simply gives the high-friction area beneath the forefoot a dedicated turning surface while leaving the rest of the foot alone.

What makes S0675 so good is that BLOCH hasn't tried to turn it into a shoe. The suede sits beneath the high-friction area of the forefoot, while almost everything else stays exposed. For dancers who genuinely enjoy working barefoot, that simplicity is a big part of its appeal.

The security system is more considered than it first appears. The toe anchors help stop the pad wandering underneath the foot, while the additional elastic keeps it closely positioned without enclosing the toes or arch.
