International shoe sizes can vary slightly between brands and models. Use your measured foot length as the best starting point, then compare it with the individual brand's size recommendation. Where a product page gives model-specific sizing advice, that guidance should always take priority over a general conversion chart.

Never choose a dance shoe from conversion alone. Ballet, jazz, ballroom and character shoes can fit very differently depending on the last, upper material, width and intended level of compression. Use this table to understand international equivalents, then follow the fit advice for the individual shoe.
How to Measure Your Feet for Dance Shoes
Measure both feet while standing, preferably later in the day. Use the longer foot when comparing your measurement with a shoe size chart.
Foot Length
Key MeasurementStand with your heel lightly against a wall and place your foot flat on a sheet of paper. Mark the end of your longest toe and measure the distance from the wall to the mark.
Measure in centimetres for the most accurate comparison with international shoe charts.
Measure Both Feet
Repeat the measurement on the other foot. It is very common for one foot to be slightly longer than the other, so always use the larger measurement when choosing your starting size.
Foot Width
Measure across or around the widest part of the forefoot. Width can be just as important as length in dance shoes, particularly in fitted ballet, jazz and ballroom styles.
Measure While Standing
Take measurements with your full weight on your feet. Standing allows the foot to spread naturally and gives a more realistic measurement than measuring while sitting.
Check the Dance Fit
A correctly fitted dance shoe should feel secure without restricting the toes or causing pressure. Different dance disciplines require different amounts of growing room, compression and heel security, so always follow the model-specific Dance World Fit Advice.
This chart is designed as an international reference rather than a replacement for individual brand sizing. Bloch, Capezio, So Danca, IDS, PortDance, Diamant and other dance footwear brands may use their own conversion systems or fit differently from standard street shoes. Always use the individual product's Dance World Fit Advice where available.

Description
A spare pair of laces is one of those small Irish dance essentials that is always worth having in the bag. Antonio Pacelli Round Pump Laces are made for replacing worn or misplaced laces, helping dancers keep their pumps neatly laced and ready for class, rehearsal or feis day.
Available in White and Black, the round profile creates a clean, polished finish while the generous 64 inches / approximately 165cm length gives dancers enough lace to tie their pumps securely and comfortably.
Antonio Pacelli Round Pump Laces for Irish Dance Shoes – A Secure, Polished Finish
Good laces make a quiet but important difference to how Irish dance pumps feel and look. These round laces are designed for Irish dance shoes, with a practical length that suits Hullachan Pro, Aoife, Erin and many standard Irish dance pumps.
Choose White for a crisp traditional finish, especially alongside white poodle socks, or Black for a classic darker shoe look. Sold as a pair, they are an easy, useful replacement to keep ready when a lace is worn, lost or simply no longer looking its best.
A Small Essential for Every Irish Dance Bag
From first classes to championship weekends, laces are easy to forget until they are needed. Keep a spare pair alongside socks, tape and hair essentials so your shoes are always ready for the next rehearsal, performance or feis.
Product Highlight
🪢 A Small Replacement That Keeps Pumps Secure
Fresh laces can make a well-used pair of Irish dance pumps feel neat and dependable again. The traditional round profile is designed to thread smoothly through soft-shoe eyelets, while the generous length accommodates secure cross-lacing and the dancer’s preferred tying method. Sold as a pair, they are equally useful as replacements or as an essential spare for the feis bag.
Dance World Tip: Replace both laces together so their length and tension remain balanced. Lace the pumps evenly, point and flex each foot to check comfort, then secure the ends firmly and tuck them away. The shoes should feel close without numbness, pinching or pressure across the foot.
