How to Use
• Begin with clean, completely dry skin. Cut or gently tear off the required length and wrap it smoothly around the intended toe or pressure area.
• The tape should feel secure without restricting circulation or movement. Avoid wrapping repeatedly in one position, as unnecessary layers may alter the fit inside the shoe.
• Remove slowly after dancing rather than pulling sharply. Use a fresh piece for each wearing and reassess the placement whenever changing pointe shoes or padding.

Care information

Store the roll somewhere clean and dry with the exposed end protected from dust and loose fibres.

Complete a small patch test 24 hours before intended wear if you have sensitive skin. Stop using the tape if redness, itching or irritation occurs.

Do not wrap so tightly that circulation or natural toe movement is restricted. If pain persists or the tape substantially changes the fit of the pointe shoe, speak with a qualified pointe shoe fitter, teacher or healthcare professional.

Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

The BLOCH A0304 Pointe Tape lets dancers add cushioning exactly where their feet need it. Soft, flexible and easy to cut to the preferred length, it is a practical pointe-bag essential for managing everyday rubbing without covering the whole foot.

BLOCH A0304 Pointe Tape – Flexible Toe Protection for Pointe Work

Made from elastic cushioned micro-foam, this lightweight tape can be wrapped around individual toes or applied to specific areas of the foot that are prone to friction inside pointe shoes and other close-fitting dance footwear.

The flexible construction follows the shape of the toe without creating the heavier feel of a bulky dressing. Dancers can choose the amount and position for themselves, making it easy to adapt the tape to their established pointe shoe padding routine.

Each roll measures 2.5cm wide and 5m long, giving dancers plenty of material to cut or tear into smaller sections as required. The Sand colour keeps the tape discreet beneath ballet footwear.

BLOCH uses soft PVC micro-foam with a latex-free acrylic adhesive. The tape is designed to be easy to apply and remove, with no sticky residue left behind after use.
