Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer foot as your starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level around the body.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement.

The So Danca JZ75 VG Children's Vegan Jazz Shoes are soft, stretchy and wonderfully easy for young dancers to move in. Made from fully elasticated stretch canvas, they wrap closely around growing feet with an almost sock-like feeling, while the flexible split sole allows plenty of freedom through the arch and pointed foot.

Designed as the vegan alternative to the much-loved JZ75, this version replaces the traditional suede forefoot pad with a vegan micro-suede dance pad while keeping the familiar rubber heel and beautifully flexible feel.

Made for Growing Jazz Dancers

The JZ75 VG feels quite different from a traditional structured jazz shoe. Its stretch-canvas upper gently adapts around the foot, creating a soft, flexible fit with very little resistance as young dancers point, flex and move.

Underneath, the split sole keeps the middle of the foot free to articulate. A vegan micro-suede forefoot pad creates a smoother contact beneath the ball of the foot for turns and pivots, while the rubber heel gives a more definite contact point at the back.

What's Different About the Vegan JZ75?

The regular JZ75 and JZ75 VG are designed to give young dancers a very similar soft, flexible feeling. Both use stretch canvas, a split sole and a rubber heel.

The important difference is beneath the ball of the foot. The original JZ75 uses a traditional suede forefoot pad, while the JZ75 VG replaces this with a vegan micro-suede dance pad.

So if your child already likes the lightweight, sock-like feeling of a stretch-canvas jazz shoe but you are looking for a vegan option, JZ75 VG keeps the choice beautifully simple.

How Should Children's JZ75 VG Jazz Shoes Fit?

JZ75 VG should feel soft and comfortably close around the foot without squeezing the toes. The stretch canvas adapts easily, so there is no need to add excessive growing room.

Always measure your child's feet rather than using their current everyday shoe size. School shoes and trainers may already include growing room and are not a reliable starting point for dance-shoe sizing.

Choose approximately ½–1 UK size above the measured foot
Comfortable growing room while maintaining a close dance fit

Quick fit check: Ask your child to stand, walk and point both feet. Their toes should lie naturally, the stretch canvas should sit smoothly around the foot and the heel should remain comfortably connected without repeated slipping.
