How to Measure for Mara Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Girth
Key MeasurementUsing a flexible tape measure, start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up the body to the same shoulder, creating one complete loop.
Keep the tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight. The dancer should stand naturally while being measured.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level around the body. Keep the tape comfortably against the body without compressing it.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and do not pull it too tightly.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around the body.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.

Cala's simplicity feels particularly considered in White. The softly curved front neckline sits between fine camisole straps, with no centre gathering, underbust seam or decorative panel interrupting the body. Instead, the fine vertical ribbing adds texture to the otherwise tonal design. Adjustable straps allow you to refine the neckline height and shoulder fit.
From behind, the mid-open scoop back follows a gentle curve beneath the shoulder blades. White binding continues around the armholes and back opening, blending with the body rather than creating a contrasting outline. Small metallic strap adjusters and the discreet Mara Dancewear back emblem provide the finishing details, while the high-cut ballet leg completes the clean silhouette.
Made in Spain, Cala uses 78% nylon and 22% elastane ribbed performance fabric. The close-fitting body provides good compression and support, with a gently held-in feel beneath the delicate camisole shape. The full front lining is exceptionally soft against the skin. Made from 86% nylon and 14% elastane, it adds a comfortable inner surface and additional coverage beneath the white outer fabric. The front is lined rather than the entire garment, and the scoop back remains open. As with any pale leotard, the appearance of underlayers can vary with fit, fabric stretch and lighting.

Eligible items can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt for EU orders, or 40 days for UK and other non-EU orders. Items must be in their original, resaleable condition, with tags and packaging. Product exclusions apply.
