Size & Fit Advice

All shoes are displayed in UK sizes. The size printed on the shoe or box may differ due to the manufacturer's international sizing system.

The shoe should fit closely around the foot without excessive loose leather, while the heel and instep elastics should hold it securely during pivots, balances and travelling movement.

Avoid allowing significant growing room in performance footwear, as excess movement inside the shoe can reduce security and control.

Fit: True to size.

Fit guidance is intended as a starting point. Foot width, shape and individual fit preference can affect the final size.

Care information

Gently wipe the leather upper using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents and excessive water.

A suitable leather conditioner can occasionally be used to help keep the leather supple. Clean the suede working surface carefully with a suede brush when required.

Allow shoes to dry naturally away from direct heat and store in a cool, dry place, ideally inside a shoe bag.

Description

Soft, flexible and beautifully secure, the Anniel Leather Rhythmic Gymnastics Shoes are designed to give gymnasts the close-to-the-foot feel needed for precise movement while adding more protection and grip than a traditional minimal gymnastics half shoe.

Premium Italian leather creates a supple upper that moves naturally with the foot, while the distinctive split suede and rubber sole combines smooth movement with strategically placed traction. Elastic through the vamp, heel and instep keeps the shoe closely connected to the foot through balances, pivots, travelling sequences and routines.

Anniel Leather Rhythmic Gymnastics Shoes – Personality & Colour

Supple Leather • Mixed-Sole Grip • Secure Fit • Flexible Movement

The traditional leather all-rounder. This feels more substantial than the ultra-minimal toe shoes often associated with rhythmic gymnastics. Soft leather surrounds the working foot while the split construction keeps movement flexible, making it an appealing option for gymnasts who prefer a little more coverage and security underfoot.

White gives the shoe a clean, traditional gymnastics finish with the crisp appearance particularly suited to training and performance.

Anniel Rhythmic Gymnastics Shoes – Design & Performance

The defining feature is the premium Italian leather upper. Soft and naturally flexible, the leather conforms more closely to the foot with wear while providing considerably more coverage than a conventional rhythmic gymnastics toe shoe.

Underneath, Anniel uses an unusual mixed split sole combining suede and rubber. The suede provides the smoother working surface needed for controlled movement and pivots, while strategically positioned rubber introduces additional traction and stability where the gymnast needs greater contact with the floor.

This makes the shoe particularly interesting for training. Rather than maximising either glide or grip, the sole is designed to give the gymnast access to both qualities within the same construction.

The elasticated vamp wraps the upper closely around the foot, while additional elastic through the heel and instep helps prevent unwanted movement inside the shoe. There are no laces or buckles to interrupt the profile, keeping the overall construction streamlined and performance focused.

Despite the additional coverage, the split sole allows the foot to flex and articulate freely, helping preserve the pointed line and mobility required throughout rhythmic gymnastics movement.

Dance World Notes – Anniel Rhythmic Gymnastics Shoes

The traditional leather all-rounder.

What makes this shoe interesting is the sole. Suede and rubber perform two different jobs: the suede allows smoother transitions and turning movement, while the rubber gives extra purchase when the gymnast needs greater stability.

The leather construction also sets it apart. Compared with very minimal knitted or microfibre rhythmic gymnastics half shoes, this is a more covered and substantial option while the split sole still leaves plenty of freedom for articulation.

Our overall impression: a particularly useful training shoe for gymnasts who want flexibility without feeling quite as exposed as they would in a minimal toe shoe, with the mixed sole giving it a versatile grip-to-glide character.
