Made from 100% wool, these soft fibres can be gently teased apart and arranged around the toes. This makes it easy to adjust the amount and placement of the cushioning, concentrating on the areas that need a little extra softness inside your pointe shoes.

Unlike a pre-shaped toe pad, loose lamb’s wool lets you create your own light layer. Start with a small amount and spread it evenly, keeping the padding soft and smooth rather than packing the toe box tightly. The aim is comfortable cushioning that works with your professionally fitted shoes.

The wool is sterilised during preparation to remove impurities. Its colourfast rainbow fibres add a cheerful detail to a practical ballet accessory, giving this traditional style of toe cushioning a colourful personality.

Supplied in a 1 oz tub, approximately 28g, Rainbow Lamb’s Wool is easy to keep alongside your ribbons, toe tape and sewing kit. Take out the amount needed for your preparation and keep the unused fibres neatly stored for another dance day.
