Inside the kit are 75 yards of waxed, 100% nylon thread, approximately 68.6m. This gives dancers a generous supply for ribbon and elastic attachments, with extra thread ready when another pair of shoes needs preparing or existing stitching needs attention.

Two large-eye needles make threading easier, while the included sewing instructions offer guidance for attaching ribbons and elastics. It is a helpful starting point for dancers learning to prepare their own shoes, as well as a useful backup for those already comfortable with a needle and thread.
