Fit: A close gymnastics fit through the body, with fitted long sleeves and a deep scoop back with crossed straps. Compare your child’s measurements with the size guide, paying particular attention to torso girth. The converted size is a helpful reference; individual fit can vary between brands and styles.

Check torso length: Measure from the centre of one shoulder, down the front of the body, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Try a gentle stretch: Ask your child to lift both arms overhead and bend gently. The shoulders, sleeves and neckline should sit comfortably, with no uncomfortable pulling at the shoulders or leg openings. How to Measure for Mondor Gymnastics Leotards

Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

Girth

Key Measurement

Start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder in one complete loop.

Bust / Chest

Measure around the fullest part of the bust or chest, keeping the tape level around the body without compressing it.
