Before Choosing Your Size

Take dancewear measurements over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. For shoes, measure both feet while standing and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

Bust / Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape straight and level.

Waist Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

Hips Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

Girth Start at one shoulder, measure down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back to the same shoulder in one continuous loop.

Foot Length Measure from heel to longest toe while standing. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your general starting point.

BLOCH European Balance Strong ES0160S Pointe Shoes retain the distinctive curved last, tapered box and generous platform of the European Balance family, with the addition of a stronger shank. The result is the same streamlined, low-profile silhouette in a separate strength variation.

Designed to follow the natural contour of the foot, European Balance Strong brings the curved last and shank into close contact with the instep, while its broad platform supports balanced weight distribution en pointe.

BLOCH European Balance Strong ES0160S Pointe Shoes – Design & Performance

European Balance Strong is constructed on BLOCH’s curved, arch-hugging last, designed to follow the natural contours of the foot. Its tapered box creates a snugger internal toe space, while the generous platform provides a broad, stable surface for balanced weight distribution.

The stronger shank is the defining feature of this ES0160S version. A low profile, medium sides, open throat line and elastic drawstring maintain the close, streamlined European Balance finish, while diagonal side seams help reduce satin creasing.

BLOCH European Balance Strong ES0160S Pointe Shoe Construction

This ES0160S variation pairs the European Balance curved last with a stronger shank. Its A-Paste construction supports performance use, while the padded heel and noise reduction beneath the pleats add practical finishing details for class, rehearsal and stage.

Pointe Shoe Fitting & Reordering Tip: Pointe shoes must be selected in person with a qualified fitter and your teacher’s guidance. Ribbons and elastics are sold separately. When reordering the same model, refer to the size and width stamped on the shank inside your current shoe.

A signature may be required on delivery. If you miss your delivery, follow the carrier’s instructions to arrange redelivery or collection.

Orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, customs duties and import charges, payable by the recipient.

Returns

Eligible items can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt for EU orders, or 40 days for UK and other non-EU orders. Items must be in their original, resaleable condition, with tags and packaging. Product exclusions apply.

Where our prepaid EU return-label service is available, a €10 label fee is deducted from your refund. Alternatively, you can arrange return postage at your own expense. Please contact us before returning a faulty or incorrect item.
