If the girth is close to the upper limit, or the dancer has a longer torso, sizing up usually gives a more comfortable result without losing the close ballet silhouette.
How to Measure for Ballet Rosa Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.

The skirt is made from four-way stretch mesh, combining a soft hand-feel with flexibility in every direction. Its light construction follows turns, jumps and travelling steps while allowing the leotard underneath to remain part of the finished look.
